Posted @withregram • @affinity_cu Affinity has proudly supported Quint Development’s social enterprise Build Up Saskatoon from the start. Providing opportunities to marginalized individuals while boosting local economic development, meeting labour market needs and enhancing community safety is what Build Up Saskatoon is all about.

As a contracting business with a social purpose, Build Up Saskatoon supports individuals facing barriers to meaningful employment particularly those with experience in the criminal justice system. Through mentorship and various social supports, this social enterprise gives participants the ability to provide a stable and empowered life for themselves and their loved ones.

When we asked Becky why she came to Build Up, she said she loves going to work knowing she has the opportunity to help someone everyday.

“I think that the Build Up program is so important to provide support, growth and confidence in our crew members, as well as give back to the community in many ways,” Becky said.

Becky has a background in transition homes, corrections, and other supportive positions. Her calm demeanour and wide knowledge of community resources will be a serious asset for our crew. Welcome Becky!
