Yesterday, our Program Manager Aaron Timoshyk pres

Yesterday, our Program Manager Aaron Timoshyk presented to the Saskatoon Board of Police Commissioners on Build Up Saskatoon’s capacity to enhance community safety and wellbeing. In particular, Aaron used the findings from recent research via the @coop.studies to demonstrate our success in supporting crew members to forge a life outside of criminality and ending the cycle of recidivism.

Following our presentation, Commissioner @hilaryyxe passed a motion asking the @saskatoonpolice to read the research, consider community-driven outcomes purchasing, and report back to the Board of Commissioners. We are hopeful that this motion will serve as a foot in the door for our program and others like it.
